Julie Smith - Forest Therapy Practitioner
Hi. My name's Julie. I've just come into this beautiful woodland today after a lot of rain. It's a bit of a challenge underfoot!
I'm planning at the moment a session for Tuesday next week. And it's the third or fourth session that I've run following doing my training with the Light Box Forest Therapy course.
I just wanted to say really that the course was amazing. There was so much to learn. The help of the tutor - actually having the tutor to to talk to and to discuss things with really brought things to life and where you got a bit lost, you could find guidance.
Working with the group was great. We got loads of ideas from each other. People were really beautiful people and had lots of different backgrounds, different places that people were in the country but all willing to share and to bring their experiences and their ideas to the group.
So I would highly recommend if you wanted to do anything like Forest Therapy that you use an organisation like Light Box, really because having the human touch and the real people to interact with - for me that really made a difference because if nothing else, Forest Therapy is a human experience isn't it? It's something that we do, not something that we learn. It becomes part of who we are.
It allows me to work and to be a part of this wonderful world. So I hope this is okay and you enjoy listening to my reflections on the course. Good luck if you decide to do the course.
